June 30 Jogging, blues and shoppingLast week Yukata matsuri was held in Himeji, but it was on Thursday and Friday, so I couldn't wear yukata. I decided to put on a T-shirt insted of yukata to jog on Friday night. I joged around Himeji castle with Jon again. The south side of the castle was busy but the north side was so quiet. It was not so hot, good for jogging.
Saturday night Shell invited me to listen to blues. We went to the cafe at the mall, and I met the guy who was my class mate in junior high school. He played a guitar, and I watched that. But I didn't realize. He remembered my name, but I didn't. So sorry. I guess I haven't changed since I was a junior high school student. We also met a cute boy. He is one and half year old boy and so brave to ask anone for foods. Jon read a book for him. See following lovely pictures. But after that he felt bad and started to cry. Then he sat down beside me and stopped crying. He likes girls. haha After the concert we went to Himeji castle to drink and then went to Shell's place to watch a soccer game. It was nice time.
On Sunday I went to Kobe for shopping with Mariko and Kyoko. They planed to make me over. They suggested to wear a dress, so I tried to put on a dress. It was fun. I usually don't put on a dress, in that time I could tried many dresses. I found nice one. Thanks for your help, Kyoko and Mariko. After Kyoko left, I met Mariko's friend. (I don't know his name's spell...) He was funny, he is crazy for a durian. I haven't eaten that, so I didn't know that taste. It was yummy, but soon my mouth smelled like garlic. Is that fulit?? It was wired but I can't forget the taste... June 26 You know you've gotten many gaijin friends when...* You get English mails more than Japanese mails with your cell phone.

This idea comes from Jojo's blog. I enjoyed thinking about this. ( I was thinking during my work today. hehe ) I hope you also enjoy... June 20 Dancing and basketballIt was the first experience to dance at dance club. Last Saturday night I went to Osaka with Jo, Shell, Kyoko and Jon. First what I was surprised was that there were so many people on the street even at midnight. When I came to Osaka last time, I was in Umeda. There were not so many people, I thought. Shinsaibashi is popular place to go out in the night.
We had dinner at really nice mexican restrant. I ate only mango icecream there because I was already full. I should not have eaten carry and rice at home. I wanted to eat, but my stomach said I couldn't. Next we went to a martini bar. It was nice place. But this time I have to say that I'm NOT good at drinking fast specially when I am tired! (After I left for the dance club, I got a bit sick..)At the dance club there were so many people. We couldn't walk without pushing people. We met Ben and Jane and danced togather. Dancing was so fun. We danced with nice loudly music on the floor and the stage. I forgot that I was sleepy. We enjoyed until 5 am.
After that I rememberd getting on the taxi, then I slept on the way to Osaka station. Then I got on a train and fell asleep again. We rode on a Kaisoku train (not a rapid train), but I didn't feel it took long time to get to my station. I can easly fall asleep when I get on a vehicle. But it was painful to walk home from the station by my self. I walked wearing high heels. It was dirty and my socks had 2 holes. It was not good style in the morning.
In the evening I joined Shell's basketball. I was tired, but I played a lot. It helped me to sleep after taking a long nap. It was good! At the dinner I finished a dish at Muche. It was the first time. Then I went to Shell's place to watch the soccer game, Japan vs Croatia. I had a lot of energy at that night. I was surprised of myself. June 14 Bye bye Steff!!I had to say good-bye twice in one week... Steff, I could have really good time with you. But we missed something, to go shopping, to plactice new songs at karaoke, Himeji central park, Akane no yu (onsen), etc. You should come back here!
Thank you for everything, Steff. See you again.
Eat more more MORE!! Ushimado villaLast weekend I went to Ushimado, south of Okayama, to stay international villa. Shell organized all of that.
In the morning I went to shell's place to meet Shell, Steff and Jon and we went to maxvalue to buy some foods. Then we went to Himeji station to meet Kyoko, Ben, Jane and Matthew. I drove my car first, Matthew's car followed. I didn't know where is Ushimado, so I used my car navigation. We went throgh the country side and the bridge build over the sea. It was a nice view. After we got to Ushimado, Steff said the word 'cow' few times. I didn't know why, but I realized. She read the kanji about Ushimado (牛窓). '牛' means cow. I think Ushimado is strange name. I read about where dose the name come from with a pamphlet, but it didn't mention clearly. Jon's guess was Ushimado imported beef from Australia. (We talked with Shell at lunch.) I thougut it was definitely wrong.
At the villa we met Troy. Then we walked to the olive farm. We saw a nice view, the world's second best scenery, and played at the playground. After Shell and Steff went back to the villa by Sakane-san's car, the rest of us went to the place called Roman Hill. It was not good place. Almost nothing was there. We just climed up the hill and got tired. So I was hiding from playing frisbee and badminton after I got to the villa.
At the dinner we cooked yakisoba, takoyaki and chijimi. All of them was delicious!! We enjoyed eating and drinking. After that we enjoyed fireworks. We chose some weapons. Jon, Troy and Matthew chose the weapon called rocket fireworks. It was scary. It flew everywhere and the sound was so loud. We said stop many times, but they didn't stop. Finally Jon managed to set fire to his T-shirt. We should not have played with fireworks after drinking. haha Then we played card games, uno and bullshit, and watched world cup soccer game.
Next day we went to Ushimado shrine. The shrine was funny. The notice on the wall was written with casual style Japanese. And the Chief Priest was also funny. He talked with us in English and gave us his card. The card has his nice smile photo. I've never visited such a funny shrine. Then we walked by the sea and went to ramen-noodle restrant for lunch. The restrant had a lot of autographs on the blind. Some films made in Ushimado. Now I wanted to see that. Then guys decided to see an old lighthouse, but I was so tired, I decided to take a rest in my car. On our way home Sakane-san's car drove frist, Matthew and I followed her. She chose different way from the way we went throgh yesterday. It took 2 hours, it was shorter than yesterday. Should I have chosen that way? But we could see a beautiful scenary. I think it was good.
After I got to Himeji, I went to Reza's place with Shell, Steff and Jon. Steff wanted to say good-bye to Reza. We chatted for a short time. Then we walked to the castle moat to see firefries. It was nice time. I drove to Shell's place and said final good-bye to Steff. I felt so sad. Take care during your trip. See you again in Himeji! June 09 Bye bye Brady in JapanToday my teacher Brady left from Japan. On Wednesday I went to school to give him a present and say good-bye. Some students came to have their last time with him. Mr.Hat and Naomasa tried to talk with him. I haven't heard their English before. They were good. Then I went to Tiger with Mariko. Jo and Makoto was there, and Steff was coming. All we said good-bye to Brady.
Thank you for teaching me English and taking me to Tiger. I really enjoyed it.
See you soon. Birthday, jogging & farewellI have to write about last weekend before next weekend is coming...
But I gave up here today.(ーー;)
June 01 4 days weekendMy 4 days weekend started with having a little fever. This Friday was my company's holiday, so I wanted to go shopping with Steff. But I canceled it.. I also canceled to jog with Jon in the evening. My body felt heavy. I didn't go anywhere, but I had to take Jo's lesson, so I went to school. Brady said you shouldn't have come here. But I didn't take last lesson, and my fever was not so high, so I thought I should come... After lesson I got more tired. My cute imouto said you should not go out tonight!! yes, right...
On Saturday I visit my friend house. She has taken child care leave, I haven't met her for long time. We talked a lot and had a good time. After that I went to school, and changed my cloth for Shell's birthday party!! I just put on a skirt. Jo was gorgeous! Her new dress was so nice. We met other friends in front of Himeji station. Shell was cute and gorgeous!! We held her birthday party at Bali Anti. We had a good time. The last dish was 3 layerd cheese cake!! It was yummmy!! I didn't know Jon made it before I read other friend's blog. Jon, you are great! I want to know how to make it. That night I thought about my cell phone all the time. I left it at school!! Luckly Brady found it and called Mariko to tell that. But we couldn't use our cell phone at the place, so I felt nervous. I missed my cell phone.
On Sunday I went to Aioi to take part in Peron festival with Jon M, Jon H and Steff. Many people in different color T-shirt were there. To my regret, I couldn't row. The leader took a mistake, so I was not on the list. Too bad... But I was so excited. Our team won the race!! I could see whole race and take pictures. It was goood!! We got a bamboo as a prize. It was so high. I heard we should take it home. I don't know who took it.
Then we went back to Himeji, and went to Midori denka. Jon M, Jon H and I played with Nintendo DS and put on an aflo wig. It was fun. I think Steff should not have slept in my car. hahaha We had a udon lunch and went to meet friends to see Da Vinci Code. It was good. But I didn't read the book, so during the movie I had to think who did that and how did that all the time. I really got tierd. hehe After the movie we held Jo's 1 year annversary party at Kouhouseki, chinese restrant. But she was sick. She said it was my fault because I was the first one who got sick... Was that true?? I was fine that time, so it might be my fault...
That night police men called my car to stop. I turned right at the corner, but I should not have turned right there. That was first time to be stopped by police. I rememberd that my friend was fined 7000 yen when she did same thing. Premium would increase and the color of my car license would be changed. I was afraid that. So I said "Sorry, sorry, I didn't know that, sorry!!" There were 3 police men. They asked something and saw my car license. Then they allowed me!! SOOO LUCKY!!! After I got home, I told that with my parents. They said it was impossible. hehe lucky!
Next day I took a holiday. It was beautiful day, so I decided to go shopping to Marine Pia Kobe Porto Bazar. After I went there, I got a mail from Steff. "Wanna go shopping today?" ahhh I missed shopping with Steff again.... |
