4月24日 3 bad thingsLast weekend 3 bad things happened to me. First, on Firday I got sick after drinking at Tiger. Jo and Kyoko drank almost one bottle of wine each, but I did'nt drink so much, I don't know why. That night I stayed in Jo's room. Next morning I said 'See you' (いってらっしゃい) to 3 teachers who had to go work, then I had slept until noon. When I went to English school, Reza alrady knew about that.... Second one happened at English school on Saturday. I was hangover, but I played tag(oni-gokko) with children and raced them. Then I fell down on the ground. I wore a skirt, so tights had a big hole on my knee, and my knee got injured. Too bad. It was only in 10 minutes after I got there. Children worried, and others said that you are not so young any more. Yes, I know... I decided I wouldn't drink at Saturday night. It is said if 2 bad things happen in a row, 3rd one will happen. I worried about that. Luckly only good things happened at that night. We had fun at dinner, Tiger and Karaoke. (I went to Karaoke twice in one night. One of them was with my colleagues.) After that I went to Jo's apartment with Jo, Mariko and Jon in my car, and stayed in Jo's room again. On Sunday I joined basketball organised by Michelle. That was first time to join. I hadn't played basketball since I was a high school student. It was so fun. Then girls played netball. I didn't know the rules. It was like basketball, but some points were different. I had fun to play that. And we also play volleyball in a circle. I like having fun with many people. After I went home, I realized I had bruise on my arms. It was because of volleyball. I felt ache on my arms and knee. I can't wear short sleeves and skirt. umm 3rd one happened.... 4月16日 'The outsiders'I've finished reading the book 'The outsiders'. The story is good. First I felt it was difficult to understand about young guys feelings, but later I could read some guys feelings, and their thoughts were good.
Brady chose this book for my report. This book is easy to read. Words and phrases are not so difficult, and this book has dictionary in it. How nice! I could save my time to look up words. I have another book to read for my report. It might be more difficult. I will choose one for a report after I finish reading both of them. But I don't have enough time to read and write, so maybe I will choose this book.. 4月11日 Hanami at the castle #2Last Sunday we went to Himeji Castle for hanami wearing kimono!
I went to Jo's apartment first to be put on kimono by Ikuko-san. When I got there, Jon was curling Jo's hair. It was funny. He was good, then I put it on with pins, we made pretty hair style. I did my hair by myself, it was same as the day I went to Kyoto. I like that stlye, but I want to make different style next time.
Jo, Jon, Makoto, Mariko and I walked to the station from the apartment, all we were in Kimono. We were attracted. Some people smiled and waved their hand in their car. Jon said people who came from different region, America, Europe, Austraria and Asia, were walking with silly clothes. haha. That was true! :)
We met Kyoko at Himeji station. She was perfect and looked very Japanese! Sannomaru park in front of the castle was full of people. We joined Tiger (and coast), they were in the middle of the park. Music hearing from the speaker was same at Tiger, haha. There were some rugs on the ground, but most of people stood and drank. I thought it was same at Tiger.
After dark Mariko and I decided to enter the castle to see Yozakura(夜桜) because it was free. Jon joined us. (Jo didn't come because she was starving...) Actually we couldn't climb up the castle, we could see only around the garden. But it was ok. There were many different kind of cherry blossoms lit up with pink, orange and blue lights. It was so pretty. We were drank. We were having fun around the garden. Suddenly Jon lifted me up on his shoulder and brought me to the exit. I was so embarrassed!! Many people looked at us. Mariko was just laughing. I didn't understand what was happened for a short time... After dinner at Hosanna Jon realized he lost his camera. He put it into his obi during the day, and Mariko and I remembered he took pictures at the garden, so I guessed it was when he lifted me up! We went to the castle again, and asked a man in the office. Lucklly we found it at the office. Someone found and brought it there. What a kind peason! It was sooo lucky! Hanami at the castle #1Cherry blossoms blooms. Last Saturday I went to Himeji Castle for hanami with my colleagues. On that day special event, Kan-oukai(観桜会), was held at Sannomaru park in front of the castle, so there were full of people, very busy!! We knew that, but we decided to have hanami party there, because Himeji Castle is the best place for hanami!
We had hanami party under cherry blossams. We ate Sushi and drank beer and chu-hai. We could see the castle and heard okoto and taiko music. It was quiet good, except the strong wind. That made us annoy. Paper dishs, caps and plastic bags blew. Sand blew to us, so foods were covered with sand. Nooo!
I send a mail to Jo, she was at work. She said 'I'm jerous'. But it was ok, we would have hanami party on next day and wear Kimono!
