Last weekend two girls called me skinny. When I heard that word, I didn't know that meaning. I guessed it is not fat or too smart, but I felt it was different from exact meaning. After I came home, I looked up it. The dictionary says; a skinny person is extremely thin, in a way that you find UNATTRACTIVE. Oh, it's not good meaning. I am unattractive...?

 I should eat more foods and gain more fat and mustles!! hahaha! 

I got new handy phone last weekend. It's so nice and cute! I love it! I had used my old handy phone for over 2 years, so many functions are changed. Now I can take 2 megapixel photos. This is the best thing what I have wanted. I can take a photo for this blog, if I forget to bring my camera. ( My old handy phone's camera was not good. It couldn't take a clear photo.) But I still try to figure out how to use this camera and another functions. The attachment photo is my first one by useing new handy phone. Reza took this. When I talked that I couldn't understand how to use it at the English school, he came up to me and tried to use it with the screen in Japanese. He did and said 'Japanese handy phone is easy!' Oh, you were a winner.

 

I selected the character Micky Mouse and set for the screen and icons. Yesterday when I read a book, suddenly my handy phone spoke 'こんにちは！ぼくミッキーマウスだよ！(Hello! I am Micky Mouse!)' That was so scary. I had no idea. I'm afraid that my handy phone suddenly speaks again...

Yesterday was the last night I could meet Silvia. The day before yesterday I said farewell to Igor at Tiger. There were many friends there. I felt it was usual. I couldn't believe today was the last night to meet and talk with them.

 

At their farewell party, at coast on Febrary 11st, I prepared some presents for them. Next weekend they gave me a present. Igor's one was a book. It was 'Sherlock Holmes'. I wanted to read English book, so I was so happy. But it's too thick for me!! It has over one thousand pages, and it is volume 1. You know, I took one and half month for a 200 page book. How long will it take? I couldn't forget about Igor until I would have finished reading the book! Silvia gave me a tumbler of starbucks and free ticket in it. It was nice. And  yesterday she gave me another present. It was CD contained MP3 of Blazilian music. I tried to listen with my CD player after I came home, but I couldn't. Then I tried to listen with PC. I found many folders in it.(It was 698MB!! Almost full of CD!) That was why I couldn't listen with my CD player.

I realized that all my friends would leave from Himeji some day. It's too BAD!!! Don't leave me alone!!!!

Today is St.Valentine's Day. You know it's so commercialized. I have heared 'Valentine's Day is so important for women. You can give your lover chocolate with your love.' at super market and other shops. I had to bear that voice during my shopping time. When I had a boyfriend, I didn't feel so bad...:-(  And why should only girls give chocolate? It's not good. I think girls likes chocolate more than boys, especially me. I want chocolate!!

 

At my office, women gave cakes to men today. I bought all that cakes and brought to my office because I am the youngest girl of my department. I was already tired and not so happy. But the cakes was good. ( I bought cakes for men and women!) It was nice to eat something sweet when I was at work. On March 14th men will give cakes or other sweet to women, we can eat again.:)   

Finally I have finished reading the book 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. I borrowed this book from my English school on December 29th, and started to read from that day. This book is not so thick and dosen't have little letters. I thought I could have done during my winter holiday, but it took one and half months. I spent too many times!!

 

This story is so interesting and wonderful. I wanted to read next story every time, so I didn't give up. I learned new words, for example witch, faun and dwarf. I haven't learned this kind of words, but these were inportant in this story.

 

The mandline orchestra that I belong will play the song of Narnia at next regular concert. Some of our members try to read this story, of corse in Japanese. I must be the only person to read in English! And the movie will be held in March. I really want to see!! 

I went to Nagano, middle of Japan, to snowboard last weekend. It was so terrible! The temperature was -16 degrees!! I couldn't take off my gloves and goggle outside. I put 'Kairo' on my back (do you know Kairo? we can feel warm when we touch it.), but I didn't feel warm becouse of the cold.

 

But during I enjoy snowboarding, I didn't feel the cold. Exercising is nice! And then I got on the lift, I felt the cold again. That was terrible...

 

After snowboarding, we went to Onsen (hot spring). The hot water was white, and so good. One of the bathtub was in the open air. (we called that Roten-buro.) I went there with my friends. There were a lot of snow around the bathtub. It was wonderful.
