 26th November was the mandolin concert. I belong to a mandolin orchestra, we have concerts twice a year, the beginnig of June and the end of November. It's one of my big day in a year. I practiced a mandoline for several months for this concert. I went to practice almost every Sunday, sometime I couldn't join my friends activity. It was not good, but I invited them to our concert, I had to play a mandolin well, needed to practice. (I thought it was a good reason to practice harder. haha)

  I was so excited that my friends came to listen to our music. Jo, Shell, Mariko and Makoto came. How nice.! An audience is good for nice playing. At the first stage I was in the first row of the orchestra, and they seated right in front of me. They waved their hands, it was easy to find them. Poor our conducter was surprised at their blond hair when he bowed for the audience. After the concert we gathered at the lobby and took pictures. They also met my parents. I talked to my parents that they might meet my gaijin friends, so they asked me how to say hello in English and practiced it. So at that time they said hello to my friends in English without hearing thier conversation. They could speak English but couldn't understand their English. They did their best. haha Well done!!

 The after party was fun. That night's hero was Jon H. He played a clarinet at the 3rd stage with us. He joined our practice once or twice a month, but our member didn't have time to talk with him. At the party he showed us some magic. It was fantastic he spoke in Japanese all the time and did magic well. Our member liked it, and it was amazing that an old man gave him money, that was 10,000 yen!! I was so surprised and Jon H was also surprised. Our member seemed to be excited to have nice time with Jon H. It was nice.
